Even with health insurance, hospital stays can be expensive. Our Hospital Indemnity plans, through Guardian, are simple to use and offer additional financial protection in the event you, or a covered family member, are hospitalized.
With two plans to choose from, hospital indemnity coverage offered through Guardian helps to ease the financial impact of a hospital stay. It pays a lump-sum cash benefit directly to you when you or a covered family member is admitted to a hospital for a covered sickness or injury, whether or not costs are already covered by a medical plan. This benefit can be used for any purpose — from medical copays and deductibles to everyday expenses, such as a mortgage, transportation, groceries and utilities.

We’re committed to making claims submission easy for you, by offering a simple, straightforward process that helps you focus on your recovery. You'll simply need to collect required documentation, fill out a form, and submit your claim by mail, by fax, or via the Guardian website. Your claim will typically be reviewed within 4 to 6 business days.
